🧄 Lasaniya Chicken (Garlic Chicken Curry)

🥣 Ingredients

  • 800g chicken (cut into pieces)
  • 15–20 garlic cloves (finely chopped or crushed)
  • 2 medium onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Heat Oil

Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.

Step 2: Fry Garlic

Add chopped garlic and fry until golden and fragrant.

Step 3: Add Onions

Add chopped onions and cook until soft and light golden.

Step 4: Add Ginger & Tomatoes

Add ginger paste and tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes become soft and oil starts separating.

Step 5: Add Spices

Add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

Step 6: Add Chicken

Add chicken pieces and cook for 10–15 minutes until chicken changes color and starts to tenderize.

Step 7: Simmer

Add a little water if needed, cover, and cook on low heat until chicken is fully cooked and gravy thickens.

Step 8: Garnish

Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
