🧾 Ingredients:
- 500g chicken
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 2 onions (sliced)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Whole spices (bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon)
- Salt to taste
- Oil (½ cup)
- Fresh coriander & mint
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Cook Rice
- Boil rice with salt and whole spices
- Cook 70% and drain
2. Fry Onions
- Heat oil
- Fry onions until golden brown
3. Cook Chicken
- Add chicken + ginger garlic paste
- Cook for 5–7 minutes
4. Add Spices
- Add:
- tomatoes
- yogurt
- red chili
- turmeric
- salt
- Cook until oil separates
5. Layering
- Add rice over chicken
- Add coriander + mint
- Cover and cook on low heat (10–15 min)
6. Serve
- Mix lightly and serve hot 🍽️
