🍗 Chicken Biryani Recipe

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Whole spices (bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (½ cup)
  • Fresh coriander & mint

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cook Rice

  • Boil rice with salt and whole spices
  • Cook 70% and drain

2. Fry Onions

  • Heat oil
  • Fry onions until golden brown

3. Cook Chicken

  • Add chicken + ginger garlic paste
  • Cook for 5–7 minutes

4. Add Spices

  • Add:
    • tomatoes
    • yogurt
    • red chili
    • turmeric
    • salt
  • Cook until oil separates

5. Layering

  • Add rice over chicken
  • Add coriander + mint
  • Cover and cook on low heat (10–15 min)

6. Serve

  • Mix lightly and serve hot 🍽️
