Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined, tails on)
- ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions:
- Prep shrimp
Wash and pat dry shrimp. - Set up coating station
- Bowl 1: Flour + salt + pepper
- Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
- Bowl 3: Coconut + breadcrumbs + paprika
- Coat shrimp
Dip shrimp in flour → egg → coconut mixture (press gently so it sticks). - Fry
Heat oil in a pan and fry shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. - Drain
Remove and place on paper towels.
🌶️ Spicy Dipping Sauce
Ingredients:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
Mix everything well in a bowl. Taste and adjust spice level.
