Ingredients

1. For the Perfect Pizza Dough

  • All-Purpose Flour: 2 cups
  • Instant Yeast: 1 tsp
  • Sugar: 1 tsp
  • Salt: ½ tsp
  • Warm Water: As needed (approx. ¾ cup)
  • Olive Oil: 2 tbsp

2. Signature Pizza Sauce

  • Tomato Paste/Puree: 1 cup
  • Garlic: 1 tsp (minced)
  • Red Chili Flakes: 1 tsp
  • Dried Oregano: ½ tsp
  • Olive Oil: 1 tbsp

3. Toppings

  • Cheese: Mozzarella and Cheddar blend (shredded)
  • Protein: Pepperoni slices or cooked chicken chunks
  • Vegetables: Bell peppers, onions, and sliced olives

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add olive oil and gradually pour in warm water. Knead into a smooth, soft dough. Cover and let it rest in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours until it doubles in size.
  2. Make the Sauce: Heat oil in a pan, sauté the garlic briefly, then add the tomato puree and spices. Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens. Let it cool.
  3. Shape the Crust: Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a circle on a floured surface. Transfer it to a greased pizza tray.
  4. Assemble: Spread a generous layer of sauce over the dough. Sprinkle a thick layer of cheese, then arrange your pepperoni and vegetables on top.
  5. Bake: Place in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for 15–20 minutes. Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
