
🧾 Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter (room temperature)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Grease a cake pan and line it with baking paper
2. Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a bowl, combine:
- flour
- baking powder
- baking soda
- salt
- Mix and sift well
3. Cream Butter & Sugar
- Beat butter and sugar together
- Until it becomes light and fluffy
👉 This step makes the cake soft
4. Add Eggs
- Add eggs one at a time
- Mix well after each egg
5. Add Vanilla & Milk
- Add vanilla essence
- Slowly add milk and mix
6. Combine Mixtures
- Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture
- Mix gently (do not overmix)
7. Bake
- Pour batter into the pan
- Bake for 30–35 minutes
👉 Check with a toothpick:
If it comes out clean, the cake is ready ✅
8. Cool & Serve
- Let the cake cool for 10–15 minutes
- Remove from pan and serve 🎉
🍰 Tips:
- Do not overmix (it makes cake hard)
- You can add chocolate chips or dry fruits
- You can decorate with cream for a birthday cake
